Started diet program and gaining weight!?
about a week ago i started a healthy eating program and exercise, i'm drinking 64 ounces of cold water a day over the course of the day, eating fruits veggies and lean proteins and i'm GAINING weight. I've gained 5 pounds in the last week. Before starting this i was a diuretic junkie to eliminate the water weight and to maintain my weight under control, now ive given up on the diuretics and drastically increased my water intake, but im not losing weight, i'm gaining it. WHY? ANyone else ever suffer this? I heard that it takes time for the body to adjust and there might be an initial weight gain before losing it, but is that accurate? What am i doing wrong?P.S. dont say its muscle because its not

I have been working on losing weight for the past 2 months. I went from 305 down to 276 in about a month which involved running twice a day for at least 30mins a time, 5 days a week and a diet plan that was 6 days at a calorie intake of 1500 or less a day and 1 " cheat day" of whatever I wanted diet based upon caloric shock and your leptin level .I platued big time. Couldn't get past 276, Of course, being dishearted, i then let up for about 3 weeks and went back up to 285 for weight. I then went back to working out once a day doing push ups and sit ups 3x25 30 and then staitionary bike or olyptical for 30 mins. I went back down to about 278. So I have found a workout program that I just started like yesterday and already love it. But to lose weight you need a good workout plan and DIET I learned that the 7 day " cheat day" diet works to an extent, but super easy to fall off of. And so.....What is a really good diet program to get on? I have done alot of research and it seems that every diet plan I looked at was " the best diet out there" but honestly, I don't want to buy a book, or download crap, or have a meal planner mailed to me for tons of $$$. Sorry if I don't believe in purchasing a product with this one time special offer and a warning that if your intent is to only lose a few pounds, this isn't for you when the very next product I look at, and the one after that all same the same thing. I am looking either for a plan that someone has ACTUALLY done, stuck to, and has had sucess from and not just for 6 weeks either but for a good amount of time. I want something that is gonna help me with my life style change, not something that is change my life for about 6 or so weeks .And I swear to god if I see that amino berry acid promo as an answer, I am gonna flip

So I live in a dorm on a college campus and the food it, as you probably know, not the healthiest. I try to eat healthy but it's hard. I work out everyday and would easily consider myself fit but I just don't eat all that healthy. My boyfriend and I are currently on a diet through our gym where we actually purchase the food, but the prices are outrageous. In this diet he is eating the same things as me with double the protein. I follow diet programs the best when I am told what to eat and when to eat it. His goal is to lose a little bit of weight, but not too much, as he wants to primarily work on defining his body. What changes should I make in my exercises/diet program now that I have a job?
I started working in a vineyard, and although it is not a very intense job it does require me to be moving on my feet and cutting branches with shears scissors for about 7 hours. Prior to this job I had been lifting weights, doing cardio, and slightly dieting in order to get really ripped and get into really good shape, so my question is should I start taking it easier on the exercising, or should I eat a little more since I am going to be burning more calories and wasting more energy than before, the thing is I don't want to overdo it and start loosing a lot of muscle so what should I reduce or increase.
